"Jacks Place" is for everyone to enjoy and to feel as an equal and to have lots of fun!

"Jacks Place" is set on a beautiful smallholding in the surrounding countryside of Birtsmorton situated at the foot of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire. It is a small independent provider of specialist service for persons with primary diagnosis of learning disability. It also offers a service for Service User's who may have additional and complex needs, such as mental health conditions, physical disabilities or sensory impairments.
"Jacks Place" offers a warm and friendly atmosphere in a family run business, which is situated on the grounds of the family home. Hannah James manages the day-to-day running of "Jacks Place". Hannah has grown up with people who have needed that extra care. Her Mother and Nan owned and ran a Residential Home in Malvern for 21 years, which Hannah helped out where ever she could in between school and college. The home was sold and the family went to caring for people with learning disabilities in their own family home through a scheme now called Shared Lives.
Hannah has also worked in other homes including Residential Homes, homes for Service User's with Autism and Epilepsy and at a Day Placement Centre.
Hannah is setting this service up at "Jacks Place" as she feels there is not enough for people with disabilities in and out of the community to do with their own peers and with support given to them to make this happen safely and for all to enjoy.

Donations

“Jacks Place” encourages users to help the local community by donating a variety of things we make. Many things are donated to the Parish Fete to be used in the tombola or raffles etc.

“Jacks Place” also provide a friendly service at the local church, helping to maintain the apple orchard and cleaning up the paths for visitors to walk along.
